Those are certainly great looking ceiling especially those false beams. Natural wooden flooring would certainly compliment those wooden ceilings.

Our beams are perfectly safe and made from Polyurethane (not from Styrofoam like some others on the market) so they're non-toxic, feature no CFCs or Formaldehyde in the manufacturing process, and do not emit any toxic vapors or gases.

Whether or not an individual product has LEED certification is up to the manufacturers to have them tested and certified by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) or an association like Greener Product, LLC. We no longer have the kits available but we do still offer the pergola beams. They are made from high density polyurethane molded to look like real wood. Our pergola beams also feature a wood substructure to keep them from sagging and dropping. Despite the wood substructure, they are decorative only and are not intended to provide structural support. Note form the customer who inscribed the beams – A one-foot scrape piece of beam was fist inscribed with even more detail. Then this was transferred to paper were the paper was cut out and traced back on to the finished 14 foot beam that was put into place.
